Students and parents,
I have received a variety of messages via IM and E-Mail from students about issues with accessing E-College classrooms as well as grades “dissapearing”.
Please rest assured that E-College has been notified and that Kaplan Academy is looking in this issue further. E-College is one of the world’s largest online education providers for universities and colleges worldwide and is a different entity from Kaplan Academy of California. To learn more about E-college, please visit their official website. Unfortunately, neither Kaplan Academy of California, nor I, have control over the technology aspect or functionality of E-College.
Please ensure to contact the “Technical Support” telephone listed as soon as you log into E-College and let them know your full name, the section number of the course as well as the exact name of your course. Your specific details will be very helpful to resolve these technical issues.
In the meantime, please continue to check your e-mail and “Announcements” daily for news and information about our class. We also have a variety of online extra credit activities here that involve just a few minutes yet foster higher level thinking skils and collaboration.
Thank you for your patience,
Mr. Sersea
